Hi I saw the physics unit 5 thread I currently i have neutral preference to all of the options but wondered what people who did medical physics thought about it and if they suggest doing it? and if anyone give an opinion about choosing the options. (I applied for med and biomed if it will have any effect )

page 195 for the section 1 + astronomy mark scheme, no unofficial for the other secondary units yet though

Work out the power of the sun as you have the radius (p=Stefans constant*surface area*surface temp^4) x by 70000 then use temp of Daneb worked out in previous part to find surface area of daneb then work back to radius of Daneb. The Stefan constant will cancel, if your alright with this, you can therefore ignore it. Surface area = 4pi r^2

$[br]\Delta Q = 7.5 \times 10^4 - 3.0 \times 10^4[br]$
$[br]\therefore c = \dfrac{7.5 \times 10^4 - 3.0 \times 10^4}{1.2 \times (327-84)}[br]$
$[br]\therefore c = 155 Jkg^{-1}K^{-1}[br]$

why did you not convert the temperature to kelvin?
