Ah. That doesn't fill me with confidence 😁 Hopefully we both crack it with enough time before the exam!

Do you happen to know any good astro resources?

As in revise it or self teach?

It's not a great unit. I like the experimental gas laws but specific latent heat and internal energy can do one.

Was I? I didn't know that! That's even more annoying hahaha! I'm not sure really - I think its 540/600 overall for an A*. I have 273 at the minute which is good but I'm only aiming for an A so I'll need 207/300. If I aim for an A* I need ~267 I think, which is too high I reckon this year
For an A* you need 80% average across the whole a-level and 90% across A2. So at least 270/300 for A2 and 480/600 overall

    Ah thanks for the explanation!

Can someone explain to me what we need to know in terms of how much energy a fission/fusion reaction uses/yields?

What do people think to me adding a separate thread for the astro option? Or shall we keep all discussions to this thread? (Not wishing to annoy those of you not taking that option!)

Honestly don't even want to look at Astrophysics 😩 eurgh been putting it off so much -_- & just covered thermal physics and it seems okay tbh, just a lot of "fluffy" things to learn 😂

Ahaha astro hopefully won't be too bad! Fluffy?
I much prefer topics like radioactivity and gases to specific latent heat etc.

I kinda like it, I guess because we've covered some of the content in AS Chemistry.

I think it is best to keep all discussions on this thread.

The chemists in my class said the same thing...kinda wish I chose Chem now!

Ah of course - are you doing Astro? If so, how far done are you?
