Hey, I now have 5/5 university offers back for 2015 entry! However, as I couldn't decided on exactly what I wanted to do at university, I applied for 3 sociology and 2 history degree programs, as I love both subjects and a degree in either would get me where I want to go career wise...which course would you choose and why? which is more/less harder and what does each subject involve and lead to? Cheers!

Both are interesting but sociology degrees have one of the lowest employment rates in works related the actual degree and is less respected. Sociology would definitely be easier but you still have to work hard for both degrees. They're both quite different but I'd go for history as its more respected and you learn a wider range of things like economics and politics.
Where did you get your offer from if you don't mind me asking ?
Also be assured I'm not biased because in doing a politics and sociology degree for 2015 hopefully. I just feel sociology on its own wouldn't benefit you as much as his history would have. But you could have applied for a combined social science degree and done a joint socio and history combination.
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
