Meeting stranger to sell - tips Watch

    • Thread Starter

I am meeting this stranger from my town who is buying my old mobile phone and tablet that I advertised on a a local Facebook selling page.

I am meeting him in an hour from now, and I am wary on how to approach, as I don't trust him 100%.

I am meeting him at a train station, I will be with my mum in a car.

How do we progress first? Do I hand him the products first or he hand me the money? I have the good factory reset and put back into their original boxes.

If it were me I'd meet somewhere a lot more populated than a train station. Once you've identified him I'd suggest you sit down at a table both present the item you've brought so the exchanges happen simultaneously. In your case you should probably open the box to show that the phone is inside. Check the watermarks on the notes he gives you.

You should be fine with a username like that.
If you won £30,000, which of these would you spend it on?
