what access course should you choose to do petroleum engineering watch

    im thinking about doing my gcse's because i haven't done them in the past.Im 17 years old and there isn't a gcse course available now so i have to wait until September.So i was thinking after i complete my gcse course i will be around 19 years old that i can do my access course for one year.Iwant to know what access course you have to choose for a career in petroleum engineering do you have t choose a science course or an engineering course ????
    please, need good answers !!

    You'd want to do an engineering course, also make sure that the course you do will be accepted for direct entry into the universities that you apply for (research this before you apply to access courses is what I'm trying to say). It may also be worth considering doing A levels instead as while it may take longer, it's a bit less risky.
