What exactly do you mean by bias?
write out the proof
find the unbiased estimator
find the biased estimaotr of a seperate set perhaps
2. Which samples are we asked to define.

Prediction's anyone?
Q1) Design a scenario and question that includes all relevant portions of the S3 specification (75)

Describe fully the process that was used and state 25 assumptions (1 mark)
5. ..
6. if there are tied ranks what should we do??

On the mark scheme, it said that you use tied rank (average rank) and then use PMCC,
I am a bit confused because i am not sure if you still calculate Spearman rank using the tied ranks or using pmcc formula on the tied ranks/ OR: use pmcc on the raw data??

Describe and conduct an experiment to investigate if there is an actual increase in mean number of customers to Nandos after the cheeky nandos incident. State your hypothesis and use 5% level of significance. [Feel free to leave the examination and go to Nandos, you need choose an appropriate method of sampling and justify your choice] (75 marks)
8. You guys should try q3b solomon paper f.

Which paper was this? From a solomon I did a while back I recall that after you sort out the ranks you proceed as usual calculating the spearmans rank coefficient.

How come? It's not a particularly out of the ordinary question.

It just doesn't feel like 5 marks, I think it should be more.

its just 2*1.6449*standard error less than 1.5

when you use pmcc, do you substitute the ranks into the equation, or substitute the actual values?????
