Peak too early / don't get drunk (alcohol) watch

    I'm getting really frustrated.
When I was 18/19 I could get drunk I was the biggest light weight going, and would get ridiculously drunk without drinking much alcohol at all and I would stay drunk all night.
Now I'm 20 I find it really hard to get drunk and when I do get drunk I seem to peak within an hour, which really sucks as once I've peaked I'm not longer in the mood to go out.
    Any advice???

Advice on how to drink more irresponsibly? I think that's an oxymoron

You gained weight? probably what makes the difference. Drug effects are also not just chemical, your expectations/context/attitudes do effect your experience- like how some people say they smoked weed but felt nothing, it's because they didn't let themselves go with it.

Perhaps the solution is in the fact you feel the need to be a certain level of drunk to want to go out.

Your tolerance has probably increased because you've drunk so much or put on weight. I used to be the same but then I stopped for months and started hitting the gym. I lost some weight and was sober for ages. When I went back to drinking I was by no means a lightweight but I would get tipsy or drunk a lot faster than I would before.
