    hey guys,

i'm currently torn between studying politics/international relations at KCL or the university of Edinburgh next year.

the way i look at it: london - great city that i've always wanted to live in, but its incredibly expensive. whereas Edinburgh is also a great city that I could see myself living in/loving but its ultimately not the same as london. it is a lot cheaper though, which is a major bonus.

i guess i want input from you guys on which one you would pick and why! also, on a less academic note, i've noticed that edinburgh has a lot of nice formal events (such as the history society ball, the thanskgiving ball etc. at the balmoral hotel). does KCL have similar type of events (i'm assuming they do i just can't seem to find any info online. might seem a little silly that i'm asking this, but as i view the two schools to be quite on par with each other, a large deciding factor for me between them is social life).

Kcl prestigious and once you graduate with experience and interpersonal skills you can get a good graduate job.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
