I doubt you will need pills, i think it's just the settling in phase.

yes there is but pills probably arnt the answer. you would be better finding the cause and fixing it insted of depending on something making you FEEL happy without really being happy.

ive been feeling up and down for the period ive been @ uni.. sometimes really really fun othertimes id just get depressed.. is there any pillsi can take to help me cheer up?

I feel exactly the same way you do. I wouldn't take pills though, you'll become dependant on them.

dont take any pills, don't worry its just a phase - i am also in the same situation as you, i have just started university. u have to just reassure urself in the fact that everyone is finding it the same no matter how they look - everyone is still feeling a bit cautious and nervous.
Whats the matter exactly? - tell me the problem - i will be more than happy to help you in any way that i can - coz i knw what its like to be like this- i was too at the start - but now i am really happy coz i have great friends and my course is going well too

It's not easy, this university lark. I hate my flatmates, have no-one to talk to and my date tonight was a let-down.

I went through a similar phase when I first got to uni. It took a while, but I discovered the weather was making me sad. My hometown is in a bright sunny place, but uni is in a dim, dark, cold place. So I painted little suns and lady bugs and posted them on my walls. My roommates thought I was crazy, but it made me happy..... #excited#

...um, I said all of that to say, perhaps you could keep things near you or around you that remind you of happy things.
