Help on Gradient maths problem

Hi guys I need help on the attached problem, especially part C). Thanks guys!
Gradient :
Y-Y1/X-X1

e.g
a) 7-1/-2-2 = m

for part c)
I recommend drawing it all out

Yh I got the answers for part a and b...but for part C do I just multiply the BC gradient by AB negative reciprocal (because it's perpendicular)?

You're right in that you need to use some form of m1m2=1 m_1 m_2 = -1 . Try plugging the actual values in to see what you can do with it.

Usually, when getting questions like this, it's better to draw a small diagram for your own understanding.

In this case, label the edges as A, B and C.

You'll find it easier to work things out
