Jaw question

This was prompted by another thread about jaw surgery.

Ok, so when im watching tv, or on the computer (like right now) my face seems pretty normal to me. Sort of relaxed. However when i deliberatly bite together, my face shape goes all funny, like I have really bad overbite. But of course no-one goes round with their sets of teeth squeezed together.
Is this classed as overbite?- It's the fact that I can move my bottom jaw back really far like I have overbite, but it doesn't feel right in that position. Is anyone here with a 'perfect' smile able to move their lower jaw back too to look like overbite? Or am i just weird? Thanks.

Oh, I just put my jaw back in that overbite position and asked my sister to look at me from the side; she said my face shape didn't look anything like it normally did!
