Whenever I meet up with my sister, I'm happy! She's my best friend- fun, supportive and great.

Also, good food makes me very happy, and watching a really excellent film- usually one that I can empathise with.

I like it too when I'm talking to new people and we suddenly find we have some kind of interest in common.

Finding and walking in the countryside in many parts of Great Britain and Ireland makes me happy, too. Namely: the Peak District, Lake District, Ring of Kerry.

Time to myself, by myself. Well, it's not exactly that it makes me happy, but that it makes me feel sane - and so is the most necessary factor in my being happy.

Also, in no particular order: doorstop novels, walking through London or Cambridge at dusk, tea, and (occasionally) other people.
