A lot of people believe that illegal substances should be legal, however I'm more interested and intrigued by laws that don't even need to be legal.

My favourites are: In Britain it is illegal to to handle a salmon under suspicious circumstances, In Britain it is illegal to import potatoes if there is reason to believe that the potatoes are Polish and finally in Britain it is illegal to place a postage stamp bearing the queens head upside down on an envelope.

What illegal laws that don't need to be illegal would you make legal?

That one was kind of a fail wasn't it? I mean, what are they gonna do if you die?

The legality to kill a Scotsman in York if he is armed with a bow. Such a hilarious law

I've read that they very quickly usher you out of the building if you look sick (which is simultaneously hilarious and pathetic).

I think the real issue is that, being the Palace of Westminster, you'd be entitled to a full state funeral if you croaked there.

What if you're just suicidal?

My guess would be that when scotland and england were at war, they made that law since york was a very important city, if not the capital? Im not 100% sure, or even 50% sure

In many ways, they're a much better weapon than a pistol! They would be harder to conceal and you need more arm strength, but they've got a longer range and are more deadly.

I really should be more careful and cautious around people with bows.
