Possibly stupid question but if drop out of EPQ (want to focus on meeting my offer) do you think Cambridge will retract the offer?

I am so annoyed. I still haven't received my letter from Robinson college and honestly don't think I ever will. I called the college today as the admissions office kept sending me straight to voicemail and I was passed over to a tutor who said she would email me my decision IF she could find it. What does she mean IF? Surely it should be on some sort of system and low and behold I still haven't received any email and the tutor has now gone home. Although it is looking to be a rejection anyway as my mum called earlier and a woman told her my name was not in the successful pile and so it is likely to be a rejection.... But surely they are not allowed to give decisions over the phone especially if it is not to the applicant themselves. I don't know it all seems too much! The missing letter, the sick admissions assistant and the breach of data protection. The worse thing is that I still don't know where I stand and I hate it.
That's it I'm suing Robinson for emotional trauma lol:tongue:

I want to drop out of my EPQ too! Mine wasn't even mentioned at interview, plus it's so much work!!!

I didn't get in sorry. I forgot to tell everyone but life goes on. I'm so happy for everyone who got in and I'm sure I'll be just as happy or even more happy at UCL (hopefully less work)

On my offer letter it said this exactly
'if you propose to vary any of the information in the 'qualifications not yet completed or certificated' section of your. UCAS application, you are required to inform the college and UCAS with full detail by 30 April 2015. any variation of the requirements listed above must be agreed and confirmed in writing by the college'.

last line won't change as we're not changing qualifications for the offer but Yh we have to ask them or something first.
Should get a reply tomorrow.

I've been dragging it out and deferring it and I need to realise it's not going to be finished. I even put it in my personal statement (applied for English though so I could sneak some more authors in that way)

Haha, exactly. In my country we actually have a saying: if one door closes, a window opens. Being rejected by Cambridge is actually quite motivating to make the best of that damn window.
