Does anyone know what the June 2014 questions were?
I've added this to the Great Big List of Exam Discussion Threads thread!
Hi, I'm doing Nationalism, Feminism and Ecologist. Is anyone else choosing these three?
has anyone had an in-depth look at the exam paper for global politics and realised you can get away with only revising two topics? Is it me that's just seeing this??

I had the choice to study ecologist or multiculturalism.. everyone else in my class is doing multiculturalism so I have to teach myself. But I think ecologist is ok..

these are the June 2014 questions

Explain the link between multiculturalism and identity politics (15)
On what grounds have radical feminists claimed that the personal is the political (15)
Distinguish between nationalism and racialism (15)
Explain the key ideas of eco-anarchism (15)
On what grounds have conservatives criticised multiculturalism (15)

To what extent is feminism compatible with other political ideologies? (45)
Nationalism inevitably breeds conflict and war. (45)
To what extent do ecologists go beyond conventional moral thinking? (45)

i think the 45 markers last year were incredibly hard! hopefully they're not as bad this year:crossedf:

I did a very similar 45 marker in my mock a few weeks back, and I originally structured it by going through liberalism, conservatism and socialism and doing liberal feminism and radical feminism within that, but my teacher said that it is actually better (and easier!) to structure it by doing the first half on liberal feminism (and going through liberalism, conservatism and socialism within that) and then doing the same for radical!

I think the feminism 45 markers are always harder because it's quite a polarized ideology, so my teacher is probably right to say that you should do a section each on liberal then radical  Hope that helps!

So basically you have to use synoptic links...like in Sociology A2, link back to previous topics?
Am I right?
