I'd presume they'd give it for free without a script, yes. Best thing to do is make sure you have the money just in case, but go in and try.

It's just lots of people here, when asking where to get it, get told to go to the doctors, but if it's a weekend then it is just making them wait longer when they could just find one that did it for free without a prescription... TSR could cause pregnancy :eek:

As I've said, I havent seen a single chemist\pharmacy giving them free. However, there was a case where girls were given MAPs free at a school...think the BBC reported on it

I work in Boots the Chemist and i was actually talking to the pharmacist about this today!

At the Chemists (well at Boots anyway), it costs you £25 to get the morning after pill but the Pharmacist needs to ask you some questions before selling it to you.

You can get it for free or [possibly] for £6.65 (prescription price) if you visit your GP, contraceptive/GUM clinic, or hospital.

It is free at the NHS walk in centre, I know they sometimes have these places in Boots - check the website.
