Did anyone else see David Cameron being interviewed today by Andrew Marr some pretty ridiculous statements he made bound to harm his election campaign

Watch here-http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b04xxcyq/the-andrew-marr-show-04012015

Firstly he said that he has given up trying to control EU immigration and that he will have no cap or controls. He said he will try to reform benefits but admitted that would require treaty change with all 28 nations having to agree (and many needing referendums).

He was also asked if we would campaign to leave the EU if he got no reforms and wouldn't answer yes or no.

He also then said that Britain was creating lots of jobs for EU immigrants! and said that the UK is only about half way through the cuts

David Cameron than also admitted live on air if Tories did not back his EU position they would be fired, clearly suggesting they have to campaign to stay in- http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ling-Ukip.html

And if he said anything else he's be accused of lieing.

You do know that Caneron has never said he'd campaign for leaving the EU?

None of that is anything that has not at the very least being expected before.

The last part is actually appealing. I dislike his weak pandering.

He did really well in that interview. He actually outlined his parties policies which I am sure many people from other parties will not do. He spoke sense and justified all of his points well. I don't think we could get a cap on EU migration, we don't want a cap on our movement into the EU. He said he would get benefits reformed which could be universal benefits across the EU and an EU minimum wage, which would reduce immigration. I refuse to accept anything that is said by the Daily Mail.

He cannot reform the EU

He cannot re-negotiate with them

He cannot give us a referendum

Half his party want a referendum

I actually thought that it was one of his better ones. I think he's realised that bring ukip lite won't get him anywhere.

i think Based Merkel may have knocked some sense into him.
