Reaction (are you happy/sad...?): Surprised that they rejected me.

Not that disappointed as I didn't really want to go there, but I thought my interview went really well. Not the best feeling in the world as I have an interview at Oxford next week, and I'm still waiting with crossed fingers for an offer from Manchester. I just hope this doesn't start a trend and I get a second offer some point soon.

    Appliacation Date: 13th November
    Offer Date: 29th November
    Subject: Chemistry
    University: Queens Uni, Belfast
    Conditions: CCC
Predictions: I think it was perhaps BBB-BBC
Reaction: Happy of course...but Belfast is somewhere that I can easily go shopping to at the weekends. If I go to Queens, the majority of people I study with will be from N.Ireland and since it's so close to home then it would probably promote laziness in me like going home at the weekends and taking my dirty washing with me. To me going to uni is all about seeing new places and meeting new people of all different nationalities. So thats how Queens is near the bottom of my list. Dont get me wrong it's a nice Uni from what I saw at the open day but as I said above I want to study someplace thats not at home and I feel that as being true for many people in my year. (Especially since nearly everyone in the year above us went to Queens).
