Does having certain opinions that you are not willing to alter make you nasty even if you don't say these opinions to the people in question?

E.g. I don't think those people on the dole who spend all their money on smoking cannabis everyday should have had a baby, and they definitely should not then complain about stress when they just sit about all day doing sweet F/a.....

Not necessarily. I mean, you're not giving people grief about it.

I doubt there are many people on benefits who sit around smoking cannabis all day whilst they have a baby. Even with those who do, there may be a variety of reasons why they had a baby, and why they're in the situation they're in. You're free to have the opinions you do, though. I'm sure we're all judgmental to a certain extent.

I don't know how many people there are but I'm thinking about particular people... particular "family members" I just feel like I don't want to associate with them but am told i'm nasty because of this...

Depends how you go about it, but I can't really blame you. I personally wouldn't care about whether or not they're on benefits, but I've been around people who smoke cannabis all day and a) it stinks and b) it can be tedious to be around them when they're constantly stoned. Not particularly healthy for the little one, either.

The point of benefits is supposed to be to provide financial support to those who cannot find work or cannot physically do work.

It is immoral in my view for the state to use taxpayers money to pay extra benefits to those who have made an individualist decision to have a child.

Indeed, I would get rid of child benefits for anyone, regardless of whether or not they are working.

Nobody owes a fantasy family their taxpaying money.

My point is not that socialism is a wrong. Nor that capitalism is a wrong.

But the socialism and the capitalism that are promoted so strongly in media are a foul and costly kind that promotes anti-socialness.

We need to respect young taxpaying families more. But we also need to respect single people more. Because if they can have a happy life in choosing not to reproduce they might actually save this country a fortune.
