Looking to get an audi A4 2.0TFSI cabriolet in about 18 months, just wondering if people think of cabs as girls cars?

Nah the Audi is a blokes car, thats fine. Same with the Jags and Aston Martin convertiables, TVRs...Mercedes are usually quite feminine tho.

I am planning to get a Ibiza FR/Lotus Elise 111S in 30 months time! Gotta love long term planning

Well, I was going to get one in about septemeber next year, but I thought whats the point in getting a cab heading straight into winter? Better wait another 6 months, hence the 18 month plan thing.

You'd be surprised how long it takes to organise saving + finding the right car + researching said car, you can't just do it on a whim unless you wanna get ripped off or make a big mistake.

My brother has an M3 cab and i dont think its girlie. He thinks he's cool which is all that matters :wink:

IMO ALOT of cabs are very girlie but it also depends on colour...

Long term plan? Well i'm looking at getting a beetle in 60 months :wink:

Depends, they are quite feminine. However, depends on you as a person. If you're quite effeminate anyway, then you'll be good to go.

I saw the picture of the Audi and wasn't convinced, reminded me of a 40 year old woman who throws he shopping in the back of the car. I like the Porshe Boxster though! Lol. Same with the Peugeot 206 cabriolet, girls car.

imo most convertibles area bit girly. Peoples opinions will differ, but a significant proportion of people will always think your audi cabriolet is girly.

convertibles that no-one can say are girly at all:

Porsche 911 (must be black) or its girly
BMW 6 series (again must be dark)
maybe 1 or 2 more

the new BMW 3-series folding hardtop is due on sale next Jan... its way cooler than the Audi... and u cant beat the safety and security of a hardtop... besides, the new Audi grill is fug!
the beemer doesnt look girlie at all imo...
