What are the best things to include in a German GCSE?

I am doing my first GCSE German controlled assessment soon and I was wondering if there was anything in particular I need to add in to be able to get a high mark in it?

Just some general phrases really, idioms are quite good too

Words which change word order, e.g. weil, obwohl, dass

Use time phrases in different places (i.e. vary sentence structure) - "gestern habe ich gegessen", "ich habe gestern gegessen"

Um... zu (in order to) and beschlossen... zu (decided to) - but only if you know how to use it properly

Thank you very much. I have used weil, dass and zu so hopefully I should be ok, just hope I remember it all, I haven't got very long.
