This is probably going to sound stupid, but does UCAS stop working during half term. I sent my form off on Wednesday afternoon and am still waiting for the welcome letter. I'm too inpatient

Mine was sent off Wednesday lunch, and the welcome letter still hasnt arrived. A bulk of Oxbridge applications send on the 14th or 15th could have slowed it down i spose.

Yeh I'm sure they work during half-term, becuase people on here have rung them and they've answered so....I think they should come later this week. At least we know that it is UCAS being slow since we are all in the same position.

I sent mine on 19th October and haven't received the Welcome letter yet. But then again, I'm an EU-student so I'm willing to wait for another 2 weeks. Ha, but I already have Manchester track-addiction...

I don't think so. Some people seem to get their letters very quickly, for others it has taken up to a fortnight. Maybe now as more and more people are applying it's taking UCAS longer to process the applications and get letters sent out.
I'm not sure, but that's my guess. Shouldn't think you have to worry though.
