Akward situation

A few months ago I met a guy who worked in my local shopping mall, at the time he was 3 years older than me but it was my birthday soon. I'm crap with the whole meeting guys thing so I didn't know how to go about everything. Anyway the weekend after I got sick of being so passive and when I was in the area I called and asked if he wanted to meet up:date: , he said yeah and-I'm guessing because of the short notice-asked me to meet him around where he lives which isn't far but is hard to get to if you know what i mean. I was with my friends when he called and for safety reasons they came with me-two of them. OK, so i meet him and we talk for about an hour while my friends shop, everything seemed to be going great, he mentioned that he couldnt call as he was running out of credit, something I would later forget. So I go home on cloud nine and he calls a couple of days later again implying that he cant call that much and I still manage to forget blaming the lack of communication for the next two weeks on him not being interested. Kind of upset and fed up I brush him off and the next time I see him I'm walking with two of my friends to a bus stop and its dark. We walk past a group of guys who we can feel leering at us and he's there, I didnt see him and walked straight past him, only realising it was him when its too late. The next time I walk through the mall i see him standing there and he just stares at me blankly, to try and stem the akwardness, I smile, it festers itself as a grimace and I havent seen him since. I've now heard he's back at the shopping centre and I really liked him, I feel like there was so much more to offer, on both sides. Do I go there and talk to him?? :dontknow:

Just go to him and explain to him what you've just posted.
Tell him you feel awkward and are sorry, then maybe leave him to think about it.
If he cares for you he'll get in touch/stop you there and talk about it.

If he's 3 years older than you, he'll always be 3 years older than you. You may have a birthday soon, but trust me, he will have one at some point in the next 365 days too.

Erm... just say sorry and take it from there?

What would most guys do if they were in his situation, would you feel any animosity towards me?
