    Erm..probably just me being dense, but could someone give me a hand on this question;

    'Discuss the reasons why the recycling of waste products may do little to help conserve the world's natural resources'

    -recycling is a way in which we reuse resources therefore reducing the rate at which they are being depleted- but does not remove the problem of depletion

    -process of recycling is expensive-does the govt provide subsidies?

    -in the process of recycling, scare resuourcse are used up eg energy for transporting the recyling..etc

    -process of recycling may add to the pollution level

    -insufficient demand for recycled products

    -cheaper to extract raw materials, rather than recycle products

    -some types of recycling cannot be repeated indefinitely

    -are there alternatives to recycling and are they more efficient?
