i thought swimming was good for combatting it, with all the crazy amounts of chlorine it probs kills it off.

I used to suffer with really bad acne on my face, but still went swimming, it never effected it, but then again i wasnt going to give up my sport over acne even if it had

Used to dry my face up a LOT when I went swimming, which at the time was a good thing because my face was so greasy. I can't see it being a problem. If I were you, I'd go once and obviously if it hurts then get out. But I doubt it will unless you have really sensitive skin or problems with chlorine, just make sure you shower WELL afterwards so the chlorine isn't on your skin too long.

swimming helped with mine, like andy said, all the chlorine leaves ur skin dry so they disappear

As long as the sores aren't open it shouldn't hurt or affect it. On the other hand if you're on medication your doctor should've told you what to avoid. If you're worried ask your doctor, but to be honest I don't think anything you can do in an hour in a pool will affect your acne that badly, so I'd try it and if you notice ANYTHING bad I'd go and see the doctor, but most likely nothing will happen.
