Okay so Chemistry is really one of my best subjects. But I did my mock today and it went awful. I had such a bad mind blank.

And it wasn't a case of not revising...I DID revise. Truthfully not as much as other subjects, but I had so much before Xmas hols I couldn't begin before. For the time I had, I only did as much as I could. And Chemistry really is one of my best. I don't think I have ever really revised for a single end of topic test, and I almost always get an A*...

But today was awful. All practise papers went fine, but I just couldn't remember anything! I spent two mins trying to think of the word evaporation!! :unimpressed: I have not EVER had to even TRY to remember that word, it just comes!!

So it went awful. I didn't finish and I know it can't be anything more than a C (which I know isn't very bad, but for me in Chemistry, it really is). And I was planning on putting this down as an A level option (due Friday; two days) but will this raise eyebrows now???

I also did Biog and German today, which both went okay, but I'm just so conscious of this chemistry paper...

You will be fine - a bad day in a mock does not matter as you can learn from it and move on. If you're normally a good student then your teacher will understand that and will help you do better in the summer.

Try to put it behind you ...
