A2 AQA LITB3 essay tips?

Hi guys

For my exam I'm doing Wuthering Heights, Northanger Abbey and Dr Faustus and though I think I've got a good grasp of the novels and I understand the gothic elements you would expect in gothic novels, but I can't seem to write essays good enough for a band 5! I got an A at AS but I'm honestly finding it harder for me to keep up with english lit at A2 - and I'm predicted an A!

I'm really quite worried because my teacher keeps telling me that I need to expand my points more even when I thought I already had. Please if past A/A* candidates or current candidates could share some tips, examples or model essays that would be so helpful - even if you aren't necessarily doing the gothic that' fine because I reckon whatever you have to share will help.
