Hi, I'm new to this and don't know whether I have put this in the right topic. Anyway, Im in yr 10 right now and looking for a week of work experience. The whole work experience thing lasts for 2 weeks so i want to split them into two parts. I would like to work in the banking/finance sector for one week and the music industry the next. I have sent off 2 letters. One of them to Universal Music studios but they haven't replied but because they are a big company, I don't think they take under 18s anyway. The other letter was to a finance department in London. They too have not yet replied. Time is running out and I need to know whether companies will accept me or not so does anyone know anywhere else i could go? Preferably small companies.

you need to send out much more than 2 letters

find more places which are options (make sure you look at smaller businesses and those which might not be so competitive) and when you write make sure you explain what you can offer them
