A man who sneaked into a building site to relieve himself after a few drinks ended up with a metal bar protruding from his shattered rectum.

Ajay Deora, 29, was on his way home after beers with friends when he slipped and fell.

Deora fell 20 feet directly onto a two-foot metal bar which stabbed him through his bowels, sticking out the other side of his body.

Hospital staff in Banswara in Rajasthan state, northern India, sawed the bar off with specialised cutting tools and removed it safely.

A spokesman said, ‘It will be some time before he can walk or use his bowels properly.

Passerby Shah Kohli, 30, said: ‘I was on my way to my girlfriend’s when I heard a man screaming.

‘It sounded like a wild animal, and when I went over to see what had happened I saw this poor man in a pool of blood with an iron rod sticking out of his crotch area.

‘It had clearly pierced his body from one side to the other and he was wild-eyed and clearly in shock. And so was I, I’d never seen anything so shocking.”
