Just recently saw a thread asking 'Why do you hate London?' So I thought that the beautiful city doesn't deserve all this hate!

So thought I'd make a thread to appreciate it...

I love it because of the cosmopolitan atmosphere and all the classy places that are around (even though I'm not from a high class background but whatever). I love that there are so many peaceful places you can go to, and the nightlife it offers.

So go ahead and spill out your inner Londoner!

Feel like I should write "women" to go with the comments above BUT...

I love the tube. I really love travelling in London. I love the markets, the shops, the nightlife, how busy it is, the diversity, the parks (more so in summer obvs), the architecture. I think I appreciate it more now that I live away from it. I always look forward to going back.

The incredibly high density of pubs. All the things to do. Aside from that, this stuff:

But also that it has its quirks and isn't just a generic big city (which are generally busy and at least relatively diverse). The tube is part of that, as is the architecture. Generally the history, too, I suppose.

One particular thing I like is that if I forget to bring something to read on the tube in the evening I can always count on the fact that there will be an evening standard lying around somewhere.

I absolutely agree with you! London is the best place to be!

Everything from parks to shopping, transport to greenery, from our accent to our *London* class. I think no other city can beat london ♥

It's a very diverse place, and well connected with lots of things to do.

I have so many memories from going to a state school in Islington for 7 years of my life and they're just hilarious.
