I will call the clinic tomorrow for an appointment and ask about this over the phone, hopefully they will be able to tell me whether I should do something about it urgently, but I thought just in case there are medics/nurses/med students or people with similar experiences on here, maybe you could put my mind at rest.

My Nexplanon implant seems to have moved into my armpit. I first felt a slightly painful lump in my armpit, then checked where the implant should be and found it's not there anymore. I can't feel the precise shape of the implant in my underarm but I'm pretty sure it's there.

I also think it has only recently moved, as about a month ago it was in its place and now I can feel it in its new position and I am concerned about it continuing to move and it being difficult to locate by the time I get to the clinic. Also I am worried it might be extra painful and difficult to extract from this new position, and worried about damaging a nerve on extraction, am I being paranoid?

I am wondering whether I should go to the sexual health clinic or obtain a referral for somewhere else, as this sounds like a non-standard case.

Go to the sexual health clinic. They're experienced with this sort of thing and will be able to tell you immediately if it something they can sort out or if it needs to be referred. In all likelihood, they'll be able to help though.
