It's utter crap. In fact, it's craptastic. I was recommended to do 2 x 2 hour sessions on it. I lasted an hour before I demanded my money back as it was broken and a piece of junk. Refuse to do it - it's a waste of time and does nothing to improve your driving; in fact, it just makes it all appear much harder than it actually is.
Have never tried it but surely you cant beat the real thing?

I had a voucher for a couple of hours on the simulator, but in the small print there was a clause saying 'can be exchanged for £31 off the normal centre price for driving lessons'.

Naturally I did, my instructor even recommended it. Just get on the road, forget the simulator.

In my opinion its a total waste of time and money, the only way you can learn is through the real thing!

the real thing is not that tough. i think simulators only help those reallly really nervous people.

i just had my second lesson btw. driving is really not that bad. it's quite relaxing actually.

Yeah you'd be better served by a couple of hours on Gran Turismo by the sounds.

Or maybe even Grand Theft Auto!
Yeah it's so slow and painful- you start with the basics which is fair enough, but it gets so irritating doing the same thing over and over again- especially when it's learning to move off because not being in a real car, you can't actually judge the biting point with the clutch, so you have to rely on the computer and AAHHHH! It's just a nightmare.
