Sleepwalking

Does anyone on here sleepwalk?

I did it for the first time a few weeks ago and I have never been as scared in my life as I was when I woke up! It was so unsettling and just so weird, for the first few minutes of waking up I had no idea what was going on and I was only shaken out of it when someone looked in my eyes and said my name.

The worst thing about it was that I somehow ended up outside scantily dressed at 4.30 in the morning! Thankfully I don't sleep naked

Apparently its more common than you think for students to sleep walk when then they first move into halls because of stress and different conditions. Its also quite rare (thankfully) for someone to sleepwalk more than once!

I used to when I was younger, so did my brother and sisters, haha.
Not done so in years though.
It's definitely a weird feeling, waking up and not knowing why you are where you are

I walked my way out of a hotel room once. And on the way back I remember making sure there was enough toilet paper. ????????

I did it once. Woke up and was in the shower.... Luckily i had managed to get undressed. So, snapped out of it and looked at the clock, sed it was about 3.

Got out of shower, went back to my room where my duvet was by my door on the floor...

All in all, very very confusing.

Goddd, I used to sleep walk when 14/15? So embarrassing. I sleeptalked as well, thank goodness I didn't have siblings that might have had to share a room with me  They'd have known all my secrets

Yeah, I do! I never ever wake up though, I just get back in my bed apparently. When I was on a volunteer week with my friends (and 13 others), I got out of my bed and wandered about in the hall. My friend was awake and was really worried that I was going to get into bed with one of the gross old men!! Luckily I just got back in to my sleeping bag and went to sleep
Also, last year I got out of bed and gave my mate a hug whilst we were on holiday. Hahaha.

Oh my god how random I sleepwalked for the first time last night. I found myself outside my room with no key in my boxers with just a duvet. Had to sleep on the floor in the corridor untill morning, and borrowed some clothes from a friend and got another key from reception. Carazy stuff! and my back hurts!

I did it once- was at a friend's house, woke up and thought I'd fallen out of the bed and found I was in her sister's room.

Yeah I’ve done it once and so has my sister. It’s quite creepy actually because sleep walking is a dangerous sleep disorder which can endanger themselves or put someone else’s life in danger. It’s quite common in adults but does occur in children as well

You have to bear in mind you’re not supposed to wake that person up whilst there’re in that form because some get aggressive as they not in their usual sense. It has been heard that many have committed serious crimes whilst sleepwalking and many have in fact died but that has only heard of in rare cases and it’s mainly in America but that’s not to say it can’t happen in this county.

I sleepwalk, mainly it's when I'm not in my own bed like on holiday or staying over a mates house. It's not very nice waking up in someone's garden, with no glasses on (so...blind!) and it being dark, it's awful having no idea where you are or how you got there. I've woken up in weird places like in an empty bath or in my wardrobe with the door shut (wtf?!) so I can understand how you feel.

One way to prevent it is by putting a wet towel on your bedroom floor near your bed, with a bin bag underneath it so that if you sleep walk the wetness of the towel will wake you up. Might be worth a try for a few weeks.

I slept-walked last night - I put on all my clothes, walked outside up to the shed, screamed out 'yes' at the top of my voice, then went back to my room and slept. I remember nothing about it, and didn't believe it happened until my brother said he heard me, then pointed out the footsteps in the grass. WEIRD.

I used to sleep walk quite a bit when I was younger, just walking downstairs and coming back up, but I never remembered it, mum used to tell me about it in the morning.
