    My teacher always says to use subjunctive phrases to boost marks,

    egs,

    bien que - although
    il est evident que - it is obvious that
    on ne peut nier que- you cannot deny that
    quoique - even if
    pour que- so that
    il faut que - it is neccessary that
    autant que je sache - as far as i know

    (remember to conjugate subjunctive present after)

    hope this helps x

    Some good argumentative phrases are;

    Je suis convaincu que
    Vous n'avez pas raison
    Il faut aborder la question que
    Mais ce n'est pas exactement ce que je voulais dire, je voulais dire...
    C'est inadmissable, ce que vous dites
