Grass is always greener on the otherside. When she didn't like you in that way, you wanted her even more, til it built up like a fanstasy- never really expecting what you wanted to happen. The only problem is she still thinks I feel the same, so with us being best mates I can't just say, no, I don't want to be with you anymore. Or can I? :confused:

I wouldn't quite put it like that. Just say that yes, you used to like her a lot but that you just don't feel the same anymore. I'd stress that you still see her as your best mate. As you're best mates I'd hope you can talk about matters like this without getting upset/angry with each other. :smile:
