Hi, I have just received an offer from Durham for primary Ed and I was wondering if anyone knows what the timetable looks like? I have heard it is very full on from some and that it is okay from others? Thanks

At the interview there was one day placement per week with lectures/seminars on the other days- all day- with one afternoon off per week. At certain times in the year when you are not on placement you have the placement day off. I think it was a Thursday.

Thanks for that I have E mailed them and they have sent me a copy. It doesn't look too bad at all. Finish on Wed at 1pm and Friday at 2pmnd Monday and Tuesday you have about 3-4 hours with nothing I which I a bit of a pain as I will be living in Gateshead. Still think its the best course though

I'm a first year primary ed student and the timetable will vary depending on which seminar group your in and which option you pick. Take a Wednesday for example: lecture (9-10) then you'll either have a seminar at 10-11, 11-12 or 12-1

This might sound like a bit of a stupid question, but what is the difference between a lecture and a seminar?

A lecture is the whole of first year Primary ed and seminars are like normal lessons with 30 people. Seminars normally follow on from the lecture
