Consciously slowing your breathing down is about the only thing I can think of that works.

When you get up, drink a lot of strong coffee to get you through the day.

I take anti histamine's if I'm really desperate, or have Horlicks.
Or I listen to music and sing the song over and over in my head. Usually works.

lie in bed and read something with a little light on. works for me when im going bed at night :smile:

just got home from work (in a nursing home) soooo tired!
all these sleep remedies usually work for me, but last night i couldn't sleep whatever i tried and ended up listening to radio 4 at 5am in the hope that it would send me off, which it did about half an hour before i had to get up :rolleyes:

No worries :biggrin: it was an old thread but i saved it especially as alot of people tend to have sleeping trouble and i include myself sometimes.
