Hey guys, Which country do you think its better for your first degree, Australia or Canada? I plan on working in either Canada or he US later on, and hope on doing post-graduate in a US uni. I heard the quality in Canadian unis are very high, is this true? I plan on doing a degree is the commerce related field and later on a MBA in a US uni (godwilling). I heard american unis prefer undergrad degrees from Canadian unis. How far is this true?

Can someone pls clear my doubts.

Thanks in advance.

If u want to work in USA, go for Canada.

If u want to work in Asia, then Australia.

I'd recommend you to study in Canada if you want to work in the US or Canada and get a US postgrad degree. If you really want to study in Australia for some time, why not do a year abroad during your degree in an Australian uni.

If you really have plans on studying and working in North America, then why do you even give a second thought to studying in Australia? :s-smilie:

If you like surfing, apply to Australia
If you like Skiing, snowboarding apply to Canada...

Look at the Sunday Times list of top uni's.. Canada's up there and they have great business schools if you goal is an MBA...
You may have to factor in cost...if you're an international student this can be an expensive route.. Canadian uni's are not as expensive as US Ivy league, but there's still the cost of living, flights etc....to factor in.

Or if you happen to like the people from Canada, study there

It's not just about sports. Even though both surfing and skiing are very cool

If I were in the OP's position, I'd choose Canada but I suppose Cristalclear already knew that

You should obviously go to Canada if you wanted a more reputable Bachelor's!

WAY more Canadian schools are on the Times' Rankings and Canadian cities like Toronto, Vancouver or Montreal would be great to live in...
