I'm currently choosing my GCSE subjects and don't know whether I should take double award or triple award science. I'm hoping to study medicine at Oxford in the future so which one do you think is better?

Triple, definitely. Although technically double should not hold you back, it will certainly look better on your application; and the extra 3 units could (so I'm told) help you at A Level.

Yes, you should do triple, even if people get in with double. It will help with A-level sciences a lot, particularly at AS.

Oxford now does slightly weight the number of GCSEs for medicine alongside the proportion of A*s, so maximising the amount of science you're doing (subjects that should be really easy for you) is a no brainer.
