Download Quizlet if you haven't already and do quizzes on there to help learn all the relevant dates. Make sure you know what to do for each type of question in the exam. What exam board?

You still have time to get your A. I personally did not like History GCSE because there was a lot of stuff to rememberer especially the Cold war part. Anyway the key thing is the dates as you have to remember those of by heart. Practise papers are also good because you need to practice writing lots of essay. Also you should take every bit of help you are given because teachers are there for a reason. There are lots of good revison guides and websites you could use.

Good luck in advance.

Quizzes like these will help you immensley: http://quizlet.com/57406343/edexcel-...9-flash-cards/

Then learn the 'whys' that you need to know, eg why did Hitler do the Putsch at the time he did etc

I did the same exam board + same topics last year so feel free to ask for advice

I took the same units last year for GCSE edexcel history. I found the same issues as you have today with your mock. I got a D in my mock and came out with 4 A*s in history 6 months later.

Some advice I would give is to split each textbook/unit into a separate area
Make some notes for each individual unit so for example. Learn all the smallest details such as dates, figures, events, who what where when and why.
With GCSE its more of keeping your punctuation in a flow style and recite as much information as you can on the exam paper. If you learn the whole textbook you can't fail!
