    Hi,

Well atm im regretting doing a college course over A levels, because a lack of effort in secondary school means my GCSE's were average (3 B's 5 C's) i thought best to make a move to college and start fresh, meet new people etc. But now im starting to think i should have stopped and done A' levels (Because i had an offer to do the ones i wanted) but declined.

Anyway, enough rambling, the requirements are DD + B in A' Level maths, i think the DD means standard diploma (180 points i believe)+ B in A' Level maths is the standard entry requirements.

However i submitted an application to Sheffield for computer science (G402) With my current predicted grade being D*D*D* and have currently achieved every distinction possible, but there is no way of me getting A' Level maths because i simply didn't take it, i don't have the option to with my course.

    TL;DR

Did BTEC, have applied to sheffield uni for computer science, currently predicted D*D*D* But i am missing the A level maths what they search for but i cant get it because i did not take it, is there any chance of them even considering me?

I wouldn't be optimistic. The entry requirements emphasise Maths throughout so presumably Sheffield believe that level of mathematical ability is essential to do the course successfully.

You should really have contacted them before applying to check whether they would consider you.
