im in year 13 and I have a crush on this guy (for about a year) but I'm too shy to say anything plus I'm not sure if he'd like me back and I don't wanna get hurt. He's shy too we've spoke sometimes and were in the same lessons any advice?

You probably wanna try at least speaking to him more, if he ends up liking you back he'll probably make it pretty obvious...

If you don't risk getting hurt there's no risk of you finding happiness.

when you've reached my age (21) you'll realise just how much of a bad reason "shyness" is
honestly, if they did say no, do you honestly think he'd dislike you for asking from then on?
in life, you need to take chances or else you'll never get what you want
personally if it were me, I wouldn't even pussyfoot around my attraction for a person - if I like someone, I'll make it implicitly obvious, and take things as far as I can, you know why? because the worst thing hat can happen is that they say no, and there are a lot of people in this world (or country) so what's the big deal?
