After going on holiday last year, I realised I would love to be part of a hotel's entertainment team abroad. Not the professional performers, such as singers or dancers, but the ones who are around the hotel, organising and leading activities, dances and sports for guests, doing the kids minidisco, generally making sure the guests are having a good time.

I have done my research and know I will be limited in the number of jobs I can apply for due to me not being fluent in a second language, but there are still jobs that would suit me. I also know that it will be long hours, I am fully expecting to be working about 10am-midnight 5 or 6 days a week.

Has anybody done this sort of job before and have any advice or information to share? The usual holiday repping does not appeal to me at all!

I meant to say, this would be a short term contract either over the summer or after I finish my degree! I'd be doing it for the experience and because it's something I want to do rather than for financial gain, so the pay is not an issue
