    Hi everyone,

We're making plans for our activities in the run up to the May 7th general election and we want a snappy title for our campaign and information hub.

The aim of our campaign is "every student in the UK should vote". Other ideas of sub-themes include:

    • politicians are ignoring you because the young generation don't vote - we challenge you to change that
    • swing the political agenda to offer young people a better future by voting

So we need a 2 - 3 word title that is a call to action and catchy. It doesn't necessarily need to be descriptive - the more off the wall the better sometimes.

If you're interested, over to you...

    Jack

What about 'Students Say...' or some variation of that? It's got alliteration, play on words as your saying 'this is what our userbase say' and also that 'Students have their say', and would be an easy thread/banner title to clickbait.

Or do it the way they make other political buzzwords, sit 10 people down and get them to say a list of words/phrases about the campaign, then get 10 more people to sit and give words/phrases that sum up the first list, and tadah you have a buzz word.

If you just put up a huge picture of a certain Lib Dem leader signing a certain pledge, and the words "KICK CLEGG" in bold print you should have Sheffield sorted

I thought this would be that TSR is making it's own political party and wants a slogan:emo:
that 'control the poll' was good I guess.
but still a 'TSR party' would be amazing:zomg: being politically centralist maybe left leaning with all members of TSR being members and the subs being higher ups:daydreaming: if CT ever want to do this, call me

It's quite hard to think of this one, it'd be good to have something that gets across the fact that we want students to basically storm Government and take them by surprise so that they actually start listening to you all. All political parties are currently expecting young people to fail, and not vote, so they aren't pitching anything at you and basically screwing you over. The only way to change that is get out on mass and vote.

All of that in two or three words :holmes:

I'm not normally good at this sort of thing but I'll give it a go. Could you just have:

    'Count: General Election 2015'

Gets the message across and doesn't sound too much like a ridiculous political slogan. I don't think TSR types are going to buy in to the 'Yes we can' sort of vibe.

We are actually hoping to set up a TSR Party as it was suggested by another member too! PM me if you want to be involved!

    How about something clichéd?

    ''Make Them Listen''

    ''You DO Count''

    ''Voting's Now Cool''

"Our Voice; Our Future" - more than two to three words, I know .

"Who wins? We decide!" - see above.

    "Claim Your Future"

As it's the "young people's election" I really like the "Who wins? We decided!"

I also really like your first option "Our Voice; Our Future"

Ooh, these are getting good. I'd love more war propaganda style snappy ones:
    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=wa...-0%3B600%3B834

    Like:

    Vote for Victory
    Your Vote Means Victory
    Your Future Needs Votes
    Together We Can Do It
    Demand Better
    United We Vote

I'm not quite sure how we can get across "if you don't all vote, you're not going to be listened to, so you'll never get a party who caters to you" in just 3 words.

    Demand their Attention
    Demand to be Heard
    Vote to be Heard
    Vote to Matter
    ...?
