I am a recent graduate from the University of Liverpool. I achieved a First Class Masters in Biological Sciences (4 year course).
I did not wish to pursue a career in research due to having to do another 4 year PhD, followed by post doc placements etc afterwards.
I am motivated by money. I do not have a 'dream job' or really any idea of what I want to do. All I know is that I am bright, motivated and determined to have a career that I can be proud of (hopefully enjoy) and earn good money whilst I do it.
I have been applying for graduate schemes, I live in North West England and would prefer to stay within a reasonable distance if possible. Immediately after university I took a job as a recruitment consultant, for the sake of having an income, but soon realised that I did not want to pursue a career in this sort of sales-like environment.
Has anybody got any ideas of graduate schemes that I could apply to in the North West of England that offer great career prospects? I have no doubt that if I'm given the chance, I will be able to excel within a company.
