    I've uploaded a practice question I attempted. I think it's right, can someone just check it please?

    Your final answer is correct. But are you just considering the positive arm of the x^2 curve?

    Of course, it doesn't actually impact your final answer since you're only looking at the distance (absolute values) and so by symmetry everything stays the same when considering the negative arm of the curve, but for different curves it may be different.

    Yes but oyu haven't proved it. You need to demonstate also that your delta actually works (not hard though).
