Hello everyone, I'm currently studying A2 now and I just came to UK 3 years ago, I'm originally from Hong Kong therefore English Language is not my mother language. However I am so desperate want to go to University of Essex and I am lucky got an interview with them in March. Though their requirement is fairly high for me, they want ABB-BBB. Sadly I didn't get a good grades from AS I got an A, E and a D but I'm going to resit the subjects and hopefully can get a higher grade this year. Would they lower a bit my offer consider my situation? I know that's not an excuse but everything is quite difficult to me along with the pressure that all my friends are going to apply some high ranking university and I don't wanna let them know I got a bad results and I can only go for some lower ranking one. I'm appreciate anyone who can give me some suggestions or advice, and can I negotiate my offer during my interview? Thanks a lot!

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
