Getting tired of the usual (dreadful) packed lunch for work. Want something I can leave in a slow cooker, freeze in 5 portions and lift out on my way to work in the mornings to be microwaved come lunch time.
Any of you have some particular favourites? Ideally something with chicken/turkey because of the budget.

Curry, given there's so many sorts curry is almost always one of my two proper meals but normally dinner so I'm not re-heating rice
Ethiopian stews, not as many variations as curry but a good few
Noodle dishes, get the noodles you soak in hot water for a few minuted then you can microwave any sort of protein/veg/sauce thing for on top. I like melted peanut butter mixed with soy sauce and a bit water for sauce.
Pasta can be made days in advance and kept in the fridge, not sure it freezes but you can do all the sauce and half the pasta then mid way through the week cook a second bath of pasta. Just always mix the pasta with sauce/olive oil before leaving it. Can do whatever sauce you like.
Mexican stuff works well too, like make the fillings in bulk, put together burrito before bed, tin foil and eat cold at work

I have done a whole bag of quinoa along with herb marinated chicken breast and some veggies in a rice cooker and it came out really nice. It served me for at least 4 days for lunch.
