I will be taking this foundation year before hopefully going onto City and regional Planning BA.

I have some questions about what the foundation/BA are like:

What are the contact hours like?

Would you consider the work to be something very hard ?

Do you receive enough feedback and support on your work ?

and finally, would you recommend the course ?

I'm currently on my 2nd year of City & Regional Planning, and came in straightaway at 1st year rather than doing a foundation year.
I would say the contact hours have typically been between 8-12 hours, depending on the semester. I have received loads of really helpful feedback on my work. The work itself varies in difficulty, especially when you're starting out, but once you acquaint yourself with the basic concepts and frameworks, it's a real breeze.
And yes, I would recommend the course to anyone with an interest in it!
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
