Kingston for Foundation Year?

Ok, so I'm highly considering Kingston for a foundation year, for many reasons, one of them being as it's near London, but not too close to it, and also (just as a bonus) is one of the London areas with the lowest crime rate.

Anyone know what it's like?

Also, if the Foundation is crap there, any reccommended unis for foundations? Or in the end is it not really that important which uni you go to for the foundation?

Somewhere local's best, as you won't get a loan for foundation.

I wouldn't say Kingston was exactly the greatest as far as reputation, depend what you're after really.

My friend did his foundation at Kingston; he thought it was awful and restricting.

kingston is one of the best place for design (exceptional great for their fashion course), as far as i known ( and i am not from kingston). but i got a friend who studied ther b4. and it is very demanding.

therefore, they got a lot of good offer from famous design university after their foundation year!!

including csm, brighton, kingston, lcf..... :cool:

to come the univercity college for the creative arts at epsom.
i do the foundation there and im really enjoying it.
that not too far from london waterloo and victoria plus its near kingston as well

Well, you see, the thing about doing it locally and everyone thinking I live in Kingston....well.....

Actually I live in Spain. >_> As you can see from the Location thing. So I'm pretty much starting anew with this whole thing. I would go straight into a course but my portfolio kinda sucks at the moment, hence why I want to go back to england for a foundation year.
